I only work 5 days a week, how can I stop calls coming to my mobile on my days off?

Simply log in to your account and head to the “Set Working Times” - using the drop down, choose the times that you want your Talkin number to divert to your mobile and also the times you don’t want to be disturbed!

I’m going away for a week, can I divert calls to someone else in my business?

That’s one of the great features of Talkin. You can add up to 4 numbers to receive calls when a customer rings your Talkin number. It works as a fastest finger first, so only one call will connect. Using the Talkin dashboard, you can quickly toggle on/off additional numbers. The flexibility is great for when some of your team are away on holiday.

Can I set a welcome message that customers hear when they first dial the number?

Yes, Talkin is integrated directly with Amazon’s latest virtual speech software, Polly, so that you can create a personal greeting for your business and update it whenever you require. You can also set a personalised message for your voicemail.

What is the cost of a Talkin number?

We don’t charge anything extra per call or different rates on days, evenings or weekends. We like to keep things simple, so, it’s just a one off charge of £9.99+VAT a month, which includes access to all of the Talkin features and includes unlimited calls from mobiles and landlines.

Can my voicemail recordings be sent to other people in my business?

You can set up to 4 email addresses to receive the voicemail recordings. When you’re not available, the Talkin voicemail records the customers message and conveniently sends that recording to your list of email addresses. The email includes the customers mobile number, the time of the call and the recording.

What is holiday mode and how does it work?

Holiday mode is great if you or your team don’t want to be disturbed with calls. Simply flick your account Holiday Mode on to Active and all calls thereafter will be sent straight to voicemail

How does Talkin connect to WhatsApp Business?

WhatsApp Business is the latest application from the WhatsApp family of Apps, catering specifically for small businesses. The app is separate to your personal WhatsApp and to get set up you need to add and verify a different telephone number to your personal account. Simply use your Talkin number to set up with WhatsApp Business and access all of the freely available features the app offers!

I want to add multiple business area telephone numbers to my account, is this possible.

Sure it is, but at the moment we have integrated single numbers to be managed in the Talkin account. If you do want an additional number, please let us know and we can set this up for you. The cost of an additional number is £5+VAT per month. Please email hello@talkin.io
